Summer motorcycle gloves

Summer gloves are specially designed to keep motorcyclists' hands comfortably cool while riding in warmer weather conditions. They provide not only comfort and ventilation, but also the necessary grip and safety while riding in the heat. With materials such as mesh and perforations, they offer maximum air circulation while still providing the necessary protection in the event of a fall.

Keep your hands cool

Since you're already covered enough with protective gear when motorcycling, a summer glove is extra nice to wear for some extra ventilation on the hands. Sweat and moisture on the skin, combined with friction from the gloves, can cause irritation on the hands. Therefore, summer gloves are made of breathable and lightweight materials that promote airflow to keep the hands cool and wick away sweat.

Protection

Most REV'IT! summer gloves have protection on the knuckles, either through a hard shell knuckle protector or a soft temperfoam protective layer. This can help reduce the impact of a collision and reduce the chance of injury.

Also, the gloves feature extra protection on the palm of the hand. A very important place since this is the part, which in the event of a fall, first comes into contact with the asphalt. Out of reflex, we immediately put out our hands to break the fall.

Fit of summer gloves

The fit of a summer motorcycle glove (leather) is generally quite tight. A summer glove always stretches slightly and should fit like a second skin. This is also to provide optimal safety in the event of a fall. The less friction between the glove and the hands, the less abrasion. So the right fit is very important!
